#FAR CRY 4 PC KEY WINDOWS#
The game was released for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows in November 2014. The game’s competitive multiplayer was created by Red Storm Entertainment while the Shangri-La segments in the campaign were handled by Ubisoft Toronto. Certain aspects of Far Cry 4 were inspired by the Nepalese Civil War, and the costume of the game’s antagonist Pagan Min was inspired by Japanese films Ichi the Killer and Brother. The team originally intended to develop a direct sequel to Far Cry 3 that continues 3’s story, but the idea was later scrapped and the team decided to develop a new setting and new story for the game. Like this I can and will not play Far Cry 4.Announced in May 2014, development on Far Cry 4 began immediately after the shipment of Assassin’s Creed III in late 2012. Since there are different menus with repeating key mappings this should be working (and used to work in previous versions of Far Cry!). There are different menus, but if I change one key mapping (eg walking) the other (eg driving a car) is changed too?! This is a common request as I understood by searching for this problem as many players need to map different keys for walking/fighting and using vehicles. "It is still not possible to bind different keys for walking or driving a car (proabaly also other means of moving in vehicles) It seems this was a problem for people who don't use a speedpad too. I just change the bindings so up-down-left-right are for movement, not WASD.Įxcept in the case for Far Cry, I want forward to be up for walking, and W for driving. As far as the game knows I'm pushing keys on my KB. My PC just treats it like another keyboard. I'm not sure what there is to support with the speedpad. Designers can't predict every situation, so give the users the freedom to make their changes. Give the user as much ability to change things as possible. Now users only have to the change the keybinding for one and it change boths. They probably thought they were being helpful by linking the vehicle and on foot bindings. Still frustrating that they made this unessesary change from Far Cry 3 to 4. Bottom line is you're right, "i don't think it's possible to program it to separte keys." And so I'll probably play a different game. I know I'm probably in the minority, but I have such little time to game these days, that I want to do it my way when I do. I can use all 4 fingers for other game functions while moving with my thumb. It only takes a minute to program the keys and my thumb can do all the motion on the d-pad (rather than using 3 fingers to accomplish the same thing). I think the speedpad is more compfortable for my left hand.
#FAR CRY 4 PC KEY SOFTWARE#
Its just way more accurate with less of a polling rate from my USB port + the old belkin software I pulled out my belkin speedpad today an tried to program it. (for steering, and the belkin software seems kinda limited. Since you'd need to program north east, north west, south east ,and southwest. but i don't think its possible to program it to seperate the keys the way you want to run the game I used to love my Belkin N50 speed pad in a few older games like SOF 1 and 2. (remember tap your keys dont hold em when driving and flying ) never understood how ppl play this or any modern FPS game on a game pad, i used one for a bit (a logitech Dual action ) when the game first shipped just for the wingsuit missions and a lil drivingīut KB and mouse just seems more accurate to me.

Just X box and PS 4 game pads, go to settings, select game pad you'll see what i meanĪnd even on those you have to use the Sticks + d pad for movement and aim. I don't think the game supports the N50 pads
